For our costumer we are currently looking for a

Chief Technical Officer (m/f) - Mobile in Greater Berlin

Your Role:

- Lead the mobile development team across the entire product life cycle-concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support

- Work with our Product / Interactive designers and engineers to design and build a top-notch product

- Be in charge of deciding on technological solutions, frameworks, systems and services to go for

- Supervise recruitment, training, retention and organization of technical staff

- Work collaboratively with other executive team members around strategic planning and overall management of the company

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices



Requirements:

- 5-7 years of management experience in the area of Web/Mobile technology (at least 3 of them dedicated to mobile)

- Dedicated experience within mobile ecosystem, mobile specific technologies (e.g. state of the art client-server communications, mobile UX, iBeacons, etc.)

- Among top 25% of graduates from a top university with focus on software engineering / computer science / mathematics or related field

- Strong entrepreneurial thinking & experience (e.g. founded own company before, launched own commercial apps)

- Experience and ability to make difficult technological decisions in relation to limited resources (e.g. refractoring vs. new development, how much test coverage is needed, frameworks/Services vs. DIY)

- Experience in implementation of machine learning algorithms via Hadoop, Storm and general treatment of Big Data is preferred

- Commitment to lean and agile development principles

- Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide a professional cross-platform development team

- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English. German speaking skills preferred

- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
